Chen Wei's Avoryne practice explores botanical motifs, flowing brushwork, and atmospheric space. Delicate forms and layered tonal passages create an unhurried rhythm, bringing together detailed observation and a more open, expressive treatment of the surface. These representative styles offer a starting point rather than a limit: Chen Wei can also work across other Avoryne styles, adapting palette, subject, texture, and scale to the direction of each commission.

The current Avoryne selection focuses on muted architectural landscapes and atmospheric nature, with delicate ink-like studies kept as a separate series. Related works are grouped by palette, subject elements and surface texture; format and composition may vary within a series.
