About The Artist

Artwork By Arthur Ellison

I am a full-time professional artist from the United Kingdom, and my practice is devoted to monochrome geometry, structural rhythm, and the expressive potential of line. I work with grids, planes, shallow relief, black, chalk white, graphite, and warm grey, allowing small irregularities in texture and spacing to soften an otherwise precise composition. My goal is to create original works that bring definition and architectural order to a room without relying on decorative colour. For me, geometry is not mechanical; it is a disciplined language shaped by craftsmanship, proportion, material variation, and continuous refinement.

The current Avoryne selection focuses on equine studies and closely observed subjects, separating gestural horse paintings from detailed animal and still-life studies. Related works are grouped by palette, subject elements and surface texture; format and composition may vary within a series.
