Ochre Distance follows a sequence of mountain ridges from a dark earthy foreground toward a pale, open sky. Cream and beige peaks overlap with ochre slopes, their softened edges creating a gradual sense of distance. Subtle surface variation links the landscape to an abstract study of layered earth.

Its low, expansive arrangement brings warmth to a living room, bedroom, or welcoming lobby. Neutral upholstery and natural timber support its quiet atmosphere. Choose a listed panoramic size and your preferred canvas or frame option.

What should I measure for a panoramic landscape?

Measure the available width, wall height, and clearance around lights or shelving. Compare the complete outer dimensions of your chosen finish; the frame can change the fit even when the listed canvas size is the same.

About The Artist

Artwork By Hamish McAllister

Hamish McAllister's Avoryne practice explores weathered tones, landscape-inspired atmosphere, and textured brushwork. Layered surfaces and changing tonal depths suggest the movement of air and light, creating a connection between tactile detail and a wider sense of space. These representative styles offer a starting point rather than a limit: Hamish McAllister can also work across other Avoryne styles, adapting palette, subject, texture, and scale to the direction of each commission.

The current Avoryne selection focuses on raised mountain ridges, valleys and geological forms in coordinated natural palettes. Related works are grouped by palette, subject elements and surface texture; format and composition may vary within a series.
