Banner: concept room visualization based on an Avoryne Art painting, not a photograph of a completed customer installation. Artwork size is illustrative.

A finished-painting preview is your chance to compare the physical artwork with the design and specifications you agreed on. Start with the whole composition, then examine the details that matter for your room. A styled room mockup helps you imagine placement, but it does not replace photographs of the actual painting.

Start with the agreed brief

Keep your order confirmation and any agreed changes beside the preview. Check the artwork design, orientation, size, and delivery format. If you ordered a frame, confirm its finish and the finished outside dimensions separately from the canvas dimensions. Do not estimate the physical size from a room illustration.

Review the full painting before the close-ups

Use a straight-on photograph to assess the composition and the placement of important forms. Then ask for closer views of the areas you want to inspect. For textured work, an angled or side-lit image can make raised surface details easier to see. Photographs and screens can change the appearance of color, so flag any uncertainty for the team rather than assuming a precise color match.

Write a clear revision request

Describe the area you mean and the change you want. For example: “Please soften the dark section in the upper right while keeping the rest of the composition as shown.” If you want a larger change, explain the overall direction before listing smaller details.

At Avoryne Art, painting revisions before dispatch are free and can include a change of design. Increasing the size or adding framing can require an additional charge. If framing is already included in your order, the team will check the existing specification before quoting any change. Confirm updated specifications and any price difference by email before proceeding.

Approve the version you actually reviewed

Avoryne handles finished-painting previews, revisions, and final approval by email. After a revision, review the updated preview and reply clearly with your approval or further feedback. Dispatch requires your explicit approval; no reply is not treated as approval.

A short review checklist

  • Does the composition reflect the design and changes you agreed on?
  • Have you seen actual artwork photos and any surface details you requested?
  • Have you confirmed orientation, canvas size, and delivery format?
  • If framed, have you checked the frame finish and outside dimensions?
  • Have all requested revisions been resolved in the latest preview?
  • Have you sent explicit approval for that version by email?

For order-specific questions, email order@avoryneart.com with your order number. Review the painting photo checklist, compare canvas and framing formats, or read the current returns and cancellation policy.
